The Mifflin County Solid Waste Authority is working toward expansion of recycling programs within the Mifflin county boundaries. Current PUBLIC RECYCLING DROP-OFF sites for use for use by the public now available for use: Armagh Township Building has been a long time supporter of recylcing but due to space they currently only collect one material which is newspaper beside the township road maintenance building. Newspaper only
Brown Township Building has a public drop-off site now accepting five materials: Corrugated cardboard Mixed paper/newspaper Aluminum cans/tin cans Burnham Lions Club public drop-off site now accepting five materials: Corrugated cardboard Mixed paper/newspaper Aluminum cans/tin cans Derry Township building public drop-off site now accepting three materials: Mixed paper Newspaper Corrugated cardboard
One Stop Communications also has a recycling drop-off located behind their building for public use, accepting the following materials: Corrugated cardboard mixed paper/newspaper Hartman Center also has a recycling drop-off available for public use, accepting the following materials: Corrugated cardboard Plastic (#1 & #2 bottles) Tin cans Mixed paper

Union Township Building has a public drop-off site now accepting five materials: Aluminum cans Bi-metal (tin) cans Newspaper Cardboard Mixed Paper
***ALL SITES ABOVE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC USE DURING ALL DAYLIGHT HOURS-unless otherwise noted at the site– Please do not leave trash or bags at these sites. For recyclable materials labeled on bin only.. We greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness and respect in keeping the sites clean and free of trash.
